My trip it Kenya!

In about 8 days I will be going to Kenya for an African Safari followed by a six day hike to Mt. Kilimanjaro. I am a member of the voulentery team from Rescue Humanity! I am Super sad that Icould not join the medical team this year to go to Napel due to medical reasons. BUT I have been clear to go to Kenya! I am REALLY excited about this trip. Las year we treated over 1,000 patients in Napel, so I am anxious to hear about this year! Wish me luck and prayers would be amazing! I will attempted to take pictures and post them when I get back. I will be flying out Oct. 31st and than I will return Nov. 14th. Wish me luck and say prayers please!

My style choice for today.

My style choice for today is busniess casual. I'm planning on wearing something a little more dressy yet not something over the top. My thought is something simliar to what MK is wearing in this picture here. (credit to people magazine) black slacks, with a belt and a button down shirt. My style is a little different than that. I choose to where a white turtle neck black pinstriped pants, a silver scarf with black stars and heeled boots. I have always been a fan of the "Business Casual" style. But I also believe when the words "Businees Casual" are used the person wearing it should not be buying tight pants that show off the assest. If you're planning on doing that go to a night club. "Busniess Casual" is created for people working in offices that need to wear busniess attire but don't need to wear things that are "over done" So like MK I buy my pants a little bigger but UNLIKE MK I also wont buy them 3 sizes too small. We all know MK is slender but in this picture she looks like she bought pants for someone who is more like a size 6/7 than someone size 1/2 or possible a 0. I'm not saying I'm a size 6/7 but more like a 3/4 and i might buy pants that dont fit me perfectly so that I can still look classy yet not to sexy in the work place. Close MK very Close. Perhaps she should try wearing something SLIGHTLY more fitting. But I still love her anyway. She made me laugh on Full House and has continued to WOW me in everything her and sister Ashley do in life.

Dress 'em up? Or Dress 'em Down? Do these trends work for you?

Good morning bloggers. I woke up to a gloomey day outside and boxes that still needed to be packed for NY. But I went on People.com and saw some interesting trends with Kim Kardashian, Gisele Bundchen and Leighton Meester. In this artical from People.com http://www.peoplestylewatch.com/people/stylewatch/gallery/0,,20049306,00.html#20864744 Kim, Gisele and Leighton do some fantasic things with their outfits. Now, I LOVE shoes. I love really high shoes. I love shoes from all kinds of people. But my one thing that I am very curious about is DO YOU Like FRINDGE? I myself am not a big fan a frindge. BUT these fabulous girls can pretty much pull of any kind of look in any kind of weather. The crazy awsome frindge on Kim Karshian's shoes are nice, but it might not work for everyone. If I had to pick fringe for My shoes it would Definitely go for the cute frindge on Gisele's shoes. Her shoes are VERY cute all on their own, But with the cute but not too "in your face." fridge makes them pretty hot as well. I'd definitely do with those shoes with my cute little black dress for a night out on the town. And on to Leighton's shoes. Blue is my favorite color BUT these shoes are a little to over the top for me. what looks like to be blue swade and some scattered looking fridge is a deffinate no go for me. Sorry Leighton I still love you though! That's my thoughts for th morning check back for more later. :)

Modern Day Celebraty Fashion Icons...

Some people say that Katie Holmes, Katherine Heigl and others inspire the latest trends among the masses. Do you think it's true? Do you think that the Celebs of today REALLY are or should be TODAYS Fashion Icons? I have nothing against Katie Holmes and Kathrine Heigl or the girls of The Hills. But my thought is always WHAT about our OWN styles..What I want to know is WHO made these rules of the fashion world? Why do we have to follow the Celebs of today? Why Not follow our own styles. For me my favorite fashion girls are the Kardashians...That's right I said it, Kourtney, Kim and Khloe Kardashian. Those ladies have style I'd Loe to find out what people they admire WHY AND What they think when they come up with their own Fashions. For me, I like tight jeans and tanks, cute summer dresses a pair of Stilettos or Manolo Blonics. You know all those very pretty outfits. I worked in the Fashion Industry since i was 15. I've have experiances both good and bad. I find the models are too skinny, the bosses are too uptight and the people can be plain rude. But yet i still want to work with fashion. Call me crazy but maybe i am. I LOVE Fashion...I'm gonna see if the always lovey and wonderful Khloe Kardashian will read my email and answer some of my questions. Tune in to find out!
